Annual HOA Meeting

The biggest (HOA) event of the season is coming soon:

What: The Annual HOA Meeting

When: November 18th, 6:30 PM

Where: Cottonwood Lodge

Snacks: Yes! (coffee, tea, cookies)

If you can’t attend, please please please submit a proxy form (one will be mailed to you shortly.) To submit it you need to sign the form and then choose one of these adventures:

  • Pass it to a neighbor who’s going,

  • Mail it to our management company, or

  • Drop it off with Linda at 4715 W 101st Pl.

In addition to the proxy form you’ll soon be mailed a copy of the budget and also an agenda and more details about the meeting. Check your mail closely!

Speaking of the budget, here’s a sneak peek: dues are only going up 2%, which is less than inflation so really you’re saving money when you think about it. Your annual total will be $1,000.

But will it be fun?

Let’s address something right now: you’re thinking “look I have a lot of meetings already; they are not fun”, and look, I get it. Those other meetings you have really are boring.

But this meeting doesn’t have to be like that! It’s OUR neighborhood; make it fun! Bake some cupcakes to share. Wear your favorite hat. Ask Bob Belden why he’s so into plastic ducks. Compliment someone else on their favorite hat. Ask Linda a Trivia Pursuit question during the Q&A portion, or ask Dane something from a high schooler’s math home work (they said the board will answer ALL the questions so let’s see how far we can take it.) And let’s ratify the living daylights out of this budget.
